Molale has been revealing to his team of permanent secretaries in the various ministries that  he will be leaving the plum post he was appointed to in 2003 after his predecessor, Molosiwa Selepeng joined the diplomatic service. Molale, a master farmer in Borolong and Gaborone  holds a BA and an MS in Agricultural Economics and a Diploma in Experimental Statistics.

 He served as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government before he moved to the Office of the President. He has also held the position of senior private secretary to the President  from 1998 during President Festus Mogae’s tenure and was Mogae’s private secretary when he the latter was vice president.

When he retires it will be the end of Molale’s 33 years of illustrious public service career that started in 1981 as assistant district officer in Tsabong.
