Nganunu to be laid to rest on Saturday

According to the family spokesperson Mareile Nganunu who is daughter-in-law of the late Chief Justice, a memorial service will be held on Friday at 3pm, at Anglican Cathedral in the Mail Mall.
Mareile also disclosed that daily prayers are being held at 17:00 hours at Nganunu’s residence in Phakalane.
Nganunu was married to Marian Nganunu who passed away in 2010.
Marian was also a high-ranking government official and the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Science and Technology. Earlier in 2010 Nganunu bowed out of the bench on account of ill health.
Nganunu retired after a long illustrious career both in the judiciary and the civil service.
He had served as the Chief Justice for more than ten years.
He was the second citizen Chief Justice after taking over from the late Moleleki Mokama.
