Motswaledi died in a car accident last Wednesday on his way from South Africa.

Although UDC president, Duma Boko denied yesterday that they have received a report on the death, it is understood the government pathologist and the private pathologist hired by the party have released preliminary results.

The two pathologists are reportedly agreed on their preliminary findings, that there is evidence of a massive abrupt deceleration that snapped Motswaledi’s spinal cord, followed by a tumble dryer effect consistent with a rolling vehicle.

Boko said they are waiting for ballistic and accident reconstruction experts to make their reports.

He told a press conference that the ballistic expert will examine the injuries to determine what caused them.

“The accident reconstruction expert will check the car and tell us what might have happened to it.

We will tell the public about the outcome of the reports after the final report is out.

All experts will make the finalisation of what they have found out,” Boko said.

Meanwhile according to Motswaledi’s funeral programme, each political party will be allocated a slot to remember the deceased.

The main South African opposition, the Democratic Alliance (DA) and Lesotho Congress Party (LCP) will also be represented at the funeral.
