Music shows started after the semi final games as soccer lovers were waiting for the finals featuring Centre Chiefs and Township Rollers.

It was the local Hip Hop star ATI who opened the show with his one-man performance. Of late ATI has become one of the most sought after artists and is living up to that reputation. He always gives music lovers a value for their money. On Saturday he was in his element as he belted out his popular hits much to the amusement of the multitudes who filled up the stadium. ATI did about three tracks. After ATI’s performance, there was another act by an unknown Hip Hop duo “inspired by President Ian Khama”.

The duo proved to be talented and it will be a matter of time before they take the music industry by storm.

Then came South African singer Shota aka Manqobi Malabe.  Shota and his dancers took the show to another level as they circled the pitch, dishing out a classic act. At some stage, fans threw themselves onto the track to dance with the South African star, catching the lax security off guard. However, there were no incidents as the jubilant fans just wanted to enjoy themselves.  As the show reached its tempo, Shota went bare chested much to the amusement of his female followers.   Shota performed for a longer time but judging from the response of the audience they still wanted more from him.

Vee wa Mapenzy performed during finals half time. Vee who is officially known as Odirile Sento has become phenomenon.  With his dancers doing gymnastic dance moves, Vee had Panda roaring with euphoria.

He managed to console Extension Gunners supporters who had earlier on, witnessed their team suffering a 7-0 humiliation at the hands of Township Rollers. Vee’s music made the Gunners fans to temporary forget about their sorrows. A born again Christian, Vee has also added gospel tracks to his sound.
