The event, which was held at Tlolo Conference on Saturday was a fun filled night. BOPEU hosted the dinner to raise money for one of the union’s members in need of a kidney transplant.

First to take the stage was the BOPEU choir who delivered a lovely a musical piece. The choir, as the opening act, put the audience in a groovy mood and prepared them for other acts who performed on the night.

The choir set the bar high as it serenaded the audience with melodious cultural and choral infused songs. The music was a breath of fresh air as it explored the culture and traditions that makes the country unique from the rest.

Live bands on a stage are what every music fanatic longs for, and Benson Phuthego accompanied by his band gave the audience a taste of what live music sounds like.

His backing vocalists blended so well with the voice of the man who has branded himself as the poetic justice of this nation. Phthego dished out songs from his two albums.  Maikano Serenadors and the Caballeros also gave the audience a taste of their vocal prowess with what seemed to have been the most popular music of the night-choral.

Mafitlhakgosi Traditional Dance is one group whose ever growing popularity is evidenced in its many performces at corporate events. The night of culture also had raffles, and  a few lucky individuals walked away with awesome prizes.
