In what could be the biggest club sponsorship deal in the country, Rollers have convinced Capital Bank, Liberty Life Insurance, Cresta Hotels and Klipdrift and Coca Cola to finance them.

The sponsorships were announced on Sunday at the annual season launch where Rollers also paraded new signings and a new 48-seater luxury bus equipped with an air-conditioner, two television sets and an entertainment system.

Capital Bank revealed a P1.2 million sponsorship for Rollers while Klipdrift gave the national champions P60,000. The agreement with Klipdrift is that their brand will appear on every page of the club’s website.

Cresta Hotels will give Rollers accommodation valued at P300,000 during their away games in the coming season. They presented the champions with a P150,000 cheque on Sunday. In exchange for the deal, Cresta will have naming rights on the club’s bus. Insurance company, Liberty Life gave Rollers a P300,000 deal where some card-carrying members of the club will benefit from some of the products offered by the company. Liberty Life’s name will appear on the sleeves of the team’s jerseys. Rollers’ technical sponsors, Umbro revealed new kits for the upcoming season on Sunday.

During the launch, Rollers supporters were introduced to two new signings, Otlantshekela Mooketsi and Segolame Boy.

Mooketsi joined from BDF XI while Boy arrived from Miscellaneous. The club is still searching for more players, particularly in the striking department where they are thin after the release of Kenanao Kgetholetsile. Attacking midfielder, Kaone Molefe has returned from a loan spell at BMC.

Meanwhile Rollers will start their title defence against Police XI on August 10, the Botswana Premier League schedule for the 2014-2015 season indicates.

The schedule was adopted by the BPL board at their meeting on Sunday. The games officially start on August 8 with new comers, Sankoyo Bush Bucks hosting Motlakase Power Dynamos at Maun Sports Complex at 7:00 pm.

The last game of the league will be played on May 17 with the awards ceremony scheduled on May 23, the same day as the BPL general assembly. The Mascom Top 8 starts on October 24 with the final to be played on April 25 next year.
