She too will be battling it out with her male counterparts to claim the rap throne.

Born Faith Mathala, the 19-year-old commercial rapper aims to become the queen of hip hop and take the throne for herself. 

“I want to go as far as I can in the game and end up at the top,” she said.

Fio Matt-hala mentioned that being a femcee will not stop her from achieving her goal. 

She also said she has respect for rappers who are in the industry, but her mission is to be the best in the rap game. Why does she think that she deserves the hip hop throne?  She told Showbiz that her music is unique adding  that her poetic skills add authenticity to her music. 

She adds that she has been getting a lot of positive feedback from her fans.

The young rapper who said she is inspired by Lauren Hill has released a number of singles, which have been playing on air.  

Her latest single Hold Up featuring Staxxx had 2,500 downloads on its first week of release.

The femcee told Showbiz that she will be dropping her debut mixtape late this year titled My Zone, she added that on her mixtape there is a track in which she collaborated with American rapper Young Rebel.

Fio Matt-hala managed to get into the Hub Music Series Top 10 after 86 people auditionsed. 

She said she is looking forward to winning the competition on a date yet to be announced.

The rapper used to be in a hip hop crew called The Odd Future that used to do both street and Facebook rap battles.
