The dinner, held at Phakalane Golf Estate, recognised the Ministry staff for their relentless efforts during the Public Service Day celebrations at which they scooped first prize in the choir competitions. The choir competitions saw all the ministries battling it out, and the MLH staff proved that they are talented outside of their professional scope.

The dinner was attended by government officials, including Hon. Lebonaamang Mokalake. The MLH mass choir entertained the guests who were given a glimpse of what made them them favorites at the public day competitions. They performed songs that were also compiled onto DVDs and sold during the dinner. Each choir member was awarded a P500 by Minister Mokalake.

Ndingo Jowan also took to the stage. Jowa was backed by two female singers, one of them  former My Star winner Sharon. The guests, who danced and cherred to his performance  really enjoyed Kalanga lyrics. More entetainment came from  the Ministry’s intern Goomana Onosi who recited a moving poem on the importance of creating unity between work and music.
