She is currently focused on her political gigs. As the elections campaign gathers momentum, the ethnic musician to make a small fortune through performing at political events.

Her next engagement on Saturday will see her belt out some of her popular tunes at Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) Member of Parliament Nonofo Molefhi’s launch in Selibe Phikwe.

A few weeks ago Jojo performed in Mmadinare at Kefentse Mzwinila’s launch before being booked for Maun West candidate Reaboka Mbulawa’s rally.

The pint-sized musician has also recorded a theme song for Mochudi West BDP parliamentary candidate, Dr Unity Dow. Jojo performed at Umbrella for Democratic Change’s (UDC) parliamentary hopeful for Bonnington South constituency in Gaborone, Ndaba Gaolathe’s launch in February this year. Her manager Gilbert Seagile noted that Jojo’s relationship with the ruling party is primarily business. “She is performing at BDP events because they are giving her business, there is nothing she can say,” he said.
