Kabelo Kgosiemang qualifies for Wednesday’s high jump final after a 2.2 metres jump. Sprint star, Isaac Makwala made a strong case for a medal with a flawless 400m burst which saw him cross the line after 45.33secs. Compatriot Pako Seribe was third, finishing in 46.64 in his heat to qualify for the semi finals. Boxer Mmusi Tswiige bowed out in the round of 16. Amantle Montsho, who strode to victory on Sunday was in action in the semi finals last night.
