These include; Khuli Chana, who was recently in Botswana for the Miller Sound Clash, and Cassper Nyovest of Doc Shebeleza fame who also performed in Gaborone recently.
There will also be former Teargas member Ntokozo KO Mdluli, whose song Cara Cara featuring Kid X is currently enjoying massive airplay locally and in his home country. Local artists billed to perform at the show include ATI, Sasa Klass, and Noello.
El-Kindy said the event, which is a part of Kosher Nights will be hosted at Airport Junction from 2pm till 11pm. He said that they wanted to do the festival as an outdoor event and in the afternoon to accommodate people with different needs.
“We did not want to restrict the event to accommodate only youngsters because we know there are some people who might want to come, but are a bit older,” he said.
He added that they want them to feel at home and enjoy the beauty of music and that the after-party is billed for President Hotel, which is where the Kosher Nights are hosted.
