BAA seeks new Phikwe Marathon sponsor

The Selebi-Phikwe Town Council (SPTC) has provided toll free numbers to be used by organisers during event. About 1,000 local and international runners are expected for this year’s event.

Ramatshaba said preparations for the event are at an advanced stage. A committee to put together the event was launched in Selebi-Phikwe on Monday.

“Although the committee was only launched on Monday, they have been working behind the scenes to prepare for the event,” he said.  The committee is led by Alfred Basiamisi with Leonard Mojuta as his deputy.

Other committee members are Brian Mosweu (treasurer), Bapisani Masunga (public relations officer), Leatile Morolong (entertainment), Masego Masunga (registration), Mpho Bagwasi (vice register), Itumeleng Lemogang (sponsorship), Letlhogonolo Bagali (officials), Moses Raphutshe (ex-officio) Omphemetse Makwape and Agripa Matshameko (additional members).
