We hope to be successful,” Rollers spokesperson, Bafana Pheto has said. He said Ngwenya who joined Township Rollers last year, is on a two-year contract with the league champions.

He said the player is currently in South Africa, pending the issuance of the work permit. The former Mamelodi Sundowns star came to the country last year to join Notwane.  However, he left in a huff due to contractual disagreements.  Meanwhile, Pheto said his team has signed former BDF XI players, Boitumelo Mafoko and Otlantshekela Mooketsi.

Segolame Boy arrives from relegated Miscellaneous. Mooketsi is seen as a big catch after leading his former side to the Mascom Top Eight Cup glory and second spot in the league.

He was voted the Players’ Player of the Year.  Mafoko makes a return to Rollers having turned out for the team before he left for South Africa.

He was recently recalled to the national team and featured in the Zebras AFCON 2015 qualifier game against Burundi. Rollers are in Rustenburg, South Africa preparing for the 2014-2015 season with its new signings in camp.
