A registered cosmetologist and product developer, Moje’s job entails providing make-up services to both the elite and ordinary clients.

As a child, Moje said he used to play with his mother’s make-up kit.  Although at the time he made a mess of it, his interest helped him develop into a much more polished make-up artist today.

“Beauty has always been my thing since childhood.  When my aunt noticed that I had a passion for it, she encouraged me to save money and invest in a small make-up kit, which I did.  From then on everything fell into place,” he said.  After finishing his Form 5, Moje decided to study and improve his talent.  He did a course in Advanced Make-Up Design through Face-To-Face Academy in South Africa.

“I am also accredited as a national celebrity make-up artist by the Guild of Celebrity Make-up Artists in London and also accredited as make-up designer for film and television special effects and aesthetics,” he said.

He said such accreditations require him to always perform to the best level and is proud that he often leaves a smile on people’s faces.

Moje has worked on local celebrities like Nnunu Ramogotsi, Kearoma Rantao, Vee, Zenzele Hirschfelt and Mercy Thebe.

“I did Eve’s make up when she was here, Khanyi Mbau, Uyanda Mbuli, Basetsana Khumalo, Gerry Rantseli, Nhlanhla Nciza of Mafikizolo, Ringo Madlingozi, Mbongeni Ngema, Sonti Mdebele and Sipho ‘Hotstix’ Mabuze,” he said.

Moje continues to develop his talent by reading style and make-up books.  He added that he does personal branding classes as well as attending international fashion weeks, cosmetology weeks and beauty fairs.
