His fans are either relating to the song or just sharing in his joy as the track received over 1,000 downloads on its first day of release online.  The love song continues to get good reviews from the rapper’s followers.

“It tells the story of where I met a girl in a club and started talking to her.  She initially thought I was too young, but in the end agreed to date me.  I just had to be creative and tell her I love her, and I am excited she loved the song.  She still cannot believe I wrote that song for her,” the musician told Showbiz.

The two have been together for four months and the youngster hopes they will continue going stronger.

“I will be happy if we continue going strong, and as for now, the future looks bright,” he said.

He previously sang the song on Mokaragana and also got it sampled on Scramble For Africa, a local radio show. Touch is not in a hurry to release an album, but wants to continue taking Ngwanyana to the people as he believes the song has potential to open doors for him.

“I believe it is strong enough to make a lot of people fall in love with it.  The song itself made 1,000 downloads,” he said.

The young musician says he benefited from his participation on the Hub Series.  The show helped him creatively and prepared him to face the crowds.

The excitement created by Ngwanyana should provide some relief for Tswak whose promotional 12-track mixtape in 2012 flopped.

“The mixtape did not do quite well because I did not publicise it as strongly as the single,” he reasoned.

The ambitious youngster wants to emulate seasoned performers like Botswana’s own, Zeus and Nigeria’s Davido. Ngwanyana will be part of Touch’s debut album Dream Chaser, which the Botho University student plans to release in the near future.

“I have dreams and I believe in my dreams.  They are achievable and have a time frame,” he explained.
