Molapise said this at Catholic Mission Ave Marea Pastoral Centre during the unveiling of the umbrella manifesto.

The veteran politician, who is also the president of the UDC coalition partner, Botswana Peoples Party, advised Boko that wolves in sheep’s skin would take advantage of his kindness.

“Be careful of people especially those who want to entice you with funny things. Always take someone along if you get invitations whether from the other parties or not.

“There should be someone who can tell people the truth of what really transpired when other people want to tarnish your good name. You are a leader of a big organisation therefore you are accountable to your people,” Molapise said.

He also told the multitudes of party candidates that had gathered at their manifesto unveiling to support and be proud of their party leader.

He added that the responsibility of UDC members is to take care of their party president by defending him when he gets attacked by opponents and to back him when he needs them most.

“I urge you to give your president the support that he needs. You are the ones who can destroy or build him more,” Molapise stated.

Still at the unveiling, UDC head of elections, and Botswana National Front secretary general, Tapiso Kgosikoma said they are going to have two phases in their election campaigns. Kgosikoma said the national campaign would be led by Boko while the constituency based one will be led by campaign coordinators.

He said they would have four workshops before elections to train their candidates and the voters.

“We are going to have a help desk office to keep our data and to receive any problems that any constituency might face. We have tools and skills to win elections,” he said.
