Table Tennis: Botswana has failed to qualify for the quarter finals

 

In the men’s singles, Egypt’s Mahmoud will be taking on Jose Mayone Neto in what could turn out to be a thriller.

The Egyptian has proved to be deadly in all the games that he played and he showed no mercy for his opponents.  Ghana’s Isaac Amoako will face Christ Bienatiki of Congo Brazzaville.

Another fierce battle is expected when   Algerian table tennis ace Yaniss Douifi tackles Ali Kanati of Cote D’Ivoire.

In another quarter final duel, South Africa’s Terrence Mathole will lock horns with another tough customer in the form of Olasunkanmi Ogini of Nigeria.

In the ladies’ quarter finals, Jade Sasman of South Africa will be tackling the bull by the horns as she faces Fagr Shouman of Egypt in a game that is expected to produce sparks.

Eva Adom Amankwaa of Ghana will slug it out with Marie Pascale of Chowree of Mauritius while in another encounter, Ajoke Ojomu of Nigeria will be clash with Han Dimbimiarilanitra of Madagascar.

Another ladies’ quarter final match will be between Ruth Travares of Angola and Sannah Lagsir of Algeria. 

The other players who have not qualified for the quarter finals, will fight out for the subsequent bottom positions.
