Izzy celebrates his birthday with a bang

Not only was the place suitable for the gig with its amazing décor, the party which was themed All Black Everything again managed to attract quite a large number of people who all stuck to the theme and rocked up wearing all black.

With the first 100 people getting in for free, towards the wee hours of morning, the place was already filled up. As if this was not enough, the DJ line up consisted of some of the best DJs in the entertainment scene such as DJ Root, Ricky Lamar and the birthday man himself. The three men sure did a great job in keeping night crawlers on the dance floor the whole night.

Starting the set was DJ Root who instantly became popular with the ladies as he played love songs. Following after him was DJ Ricky Lamar who made a fusion of famous house tracks and did both RnB and Hip Pop. As the music played, more and more people filled the dance flow and danced the night away.

Before even steeping on the decks, the crowd was already getting impatient and demanding that the man of the moment step on the decks and show them what he has in store for them. As usual the Boulevard resident DJ did not disappoint, he sure made people’s night with Hip Pop and RnB songs that he played reminding them why they made the right decision to come to party with him.

Speaking to Showtime later, Izzy said that he was not expecting the many people that turned up to come celebrate his birthday with him. The radio DJ said that this party was not only celebrating him adding another year but he was also celebrating two major life changes that happened recently in his life.

“I guess it is not a secret anymore, I recently got married to the love of my life, One Ngwako and a month back we welcomed a beautiful baby girl so not only was I celebrating my birthday I was also thanking God for blessing me with these two ladies,” he said.

Izzy continued that his party this year was fun than the other years as he is now a matured individual who made a commitment to someone that he will love and honour them for the rest of his life.

He added that being married has not changed him, but rather has groomed him to be a better and responsible husband and father to his two ladies. “I am still the same man who is a DJ and radio personality, but now I am more mature as I have two people. I have to take care of, so I believe I have grown. But I have not changed and my love for entertainment still remains the same, I am an entertainer,” he said.
