The popular musician mostly known for her raunchy dance moves was reported to be headed to Brazil, since 2012, but according to her manager Gilbert 'PP' Seagile the move is off. 'We realised that the guys who had offered to take her there were not genuine.

We have been communicating with some people who claimed to be representatives of a company called Dream Team from South Africa.  They said they were working with the organising committee in Brazil but it was funny because after we agreed verbally they delayed with the contract,' Seagile said.

He also said that he and his protégé were alerted when the Dream Team representatives avoided communicating by email but preferred phone calls. 'We had agreed on a R1.3 million deal, which would see Jojo travel to Ethiopia, Sweden and then Brazil but these guys insisted that we cover our own travel expenses.

It was not clear whether we would get a refund or not.  The other thing is that if at all the deal was legitimate they would be willing to pay us a deposit,' Seagile said. However, the energetic dancer still looks set to conquer the international market. Seagile said they are still discussing another deal, which could see Jojo performing in Casablanca, Morocco next year for a yet to be disclosed event.

'We have not signed a contract yet but in essence we have agreed on the terms and she is ready to travel to South Africa to record a song for the event.  She is supposed to do a song with an Arabic singer and another artist from Europe,' he said. Last December Jojo travelled to Malawi where she featured in the African Music Festival.
