Following the successful release of his poetry album Poetic Meditations, Legodile Seganabeng (Dredd X) has shifted focus to putting out a hard copy of his book titled Josie. The Kindle version, soft copy, is already selling on Amazon, an online digital distribution website, while the hard copy is also on the cards.

The 237-paged book is about a woman called, Josie, who returns home to discover that her three-month-old son has gone missing.  As time passes and the police do nothing she tries to come to terms with her grief.  Then she finds a clue, which suggests that he was kidnapped and is still alive.  She then tracks him down.   Set in Botswana, Josie, according to Amazon info, is a novel packed with suspense, murder and betrayal.
Dredd X will not rest on his laurels while waiting for the release of the book and intends to busy himself marketing his maiden album.
He officially released it last month in Gaborone.  Poetic Meditations is a project, which, the founder of Poetavango Spoken Word Poetry has been working on since 2008.  He only completed the 15-track album in December last year. Poetry music, he says, is aimed at enhancing the moods of the different themes. 'It covers a wide range of themes - from political themes to social ills, relationships and love and everything the common man and woman can identify with,' he said.
Dredd X added that the poetic music is inspired by real life situations that include his personal experiences and those of people around him. The CD comes with a 12-page booklet that has printable lyrics and poems. It was printed at CD Technology in South Africa as they sought to get the best quality. 'We have invested so much with partners and producers in terms of time and quality because we wanted high standards and international quality,' he said.
