The organiser of the event, Mpho Diale said they decided to come up with this event to give fashion designers a chance to mingle and network with potential sponsors.
'We have realised that most of the times designers have no clue where to go when they are in need of financial support so this event will enable them to know the right people to consult when in need of sponsorship,' he said.
He added that fashion designers would also have a chance to mingle with other stakeholders like celebrities, musicians, media and potential customers.
'This event is also a platform for young, upcoming fashion designers, photographers, fashion bloggers, branding and marketing consultants to converge under one roof and mingle with the crowd.
Experienced fashion designers will also attend the show and will give advice to upcoming young designers,' he said.
Activities will include not only top fashion designers mingling with the crowd, but also a display of the fashion talent by local designers, goodie bags, musical performances, and appearances by well-known international iconic public personalities.
'We are currently in talks with a famous South African television personality as we want her to be at the event. Although we are still negotiating so far it looks promising so people should look out for a surprise celeb appearance,' he said.
Disc Jockeys (DJs) expected to play at the event are DJs Khenzo, T-Izzy, German D, Myza, Element, Scratch and Deelow.
