Ntuane had organised a final voter registration festival featuring big names in the industry only for the police to spoil the fun.

The festival at Bophirima freedom square featured Slizer, Splash, ATI, Shumba Ratshega, Dalom Kids, Makau, Matshikos, Eskoms, Franix, Abbie gaba, Malakista, Mingos and Alfredo Mos.

The youth attended in droves and some brought alcohol to the festival but the police were having none of it.

The uncompromising police were going around spilling the alcohol from revelers. Alcohol lovers worked over time between dodging the police and having fun.

Apart from police ‘harassment’ the revelers braved the sizzling hot sun to dance in the dusty ground. To most of them it was a replay of 2009 when Ntuane hosted a similar festival for his launch. Ntuane also took the opportunity to launch his six council candidates. He also encouraged the people to register in large numbers so that they can vote during the general elections later this year.

The second supplementary voter registration has commenced from May 1-18.
