The manager of the five-man group, Yonda Marumoagae said that she is more than determined to make sure that come August the group would have raised enough funds the trip. She said that the fact that they managed to apply and be chosen to perform at the festival means that they have what it takes.  Marumoagae expressed that it is now up to Batswana to assist them to make their trip possible.

“This is our chance to sell Botswana to the world and this will be the best time as the country gears towards its 50-year anniversary celebrations in September,” she said.

She said their trip will not only benefit the group in terms of growth, but will also benefit Batswana as a whole.  She added that the group should serve as motivation to other artists.

“With determination anything is possible,” she said. Marumoagae said apart from seeking sponsorship, they are finalising logistics that will see them organise a fund raising concert.  She requested companies and individuals to assist where they can.
