“Ever since groups like T-Joints parted ways, kwaito has slowly been a genre that people feel is dying, we do not have many kwaito artists locally like we used to back in the day.  A lot of them have shifted to house music and this is where I come in.  I believe I am going to make people have faith in kwaito music again,” he says.   Gaelebale says the album is done and ready to hit the shelves. But because he wants only the best for his listeners, he decided to polish it for a better quality release.

“I want to attract fans and this can be achieved only if I give them my best, which is what my album is. I am a very creative artist and all this will be realised in my album.  My music is not only for enjoyment.  It also carries strong messages that will not only heal but offer advice in life situations,” he says. The kwaito artist mentioned that he is currently signed with one of the best in the music industry, BK Proctor of Basement Records.

He has been in the music industry for more than seven years and he says he never wanted to rush his career as he believes in perfection.

“I waited so long to release an album.  I wanted to give people something good.  The album is self-titled as I want people to learn more about me. I named it Dlala, which is my middle name and most of the songs in the album are my experiences. This album is personal for me as I have narrated my life to people through music,” he says. He adds that he has also worked with some of the artists who inspire him including the likes of Vee, MMP family, T.H.A.B.O, Eugene Jackson, Mapetla and A.T.I.

“Working with these different artists was a way of making the album even more interesting as these artists sing different genres.  This way my fans can get a taste of their other favorite artists in my album.  I wanted to cater for everyone,” he says.  The song that will appeal to fans, he says, is Machine.  It is a song about hard work and determination,he says.

“It is a feel-good song for everybody but mostly the youth.   Machine is all about a hungry young man who is trying to break into the music industry and make his mark. This track encourages youngsters to stop wasting their time doing nothing.  Rather go out there and grab your dreams as the world will not wait for you,” he says.
