BPL will now focus on talks with be MOBILE for an extension of the sponsorship contract.

The current contract is in its last season and Mamelodi said that they are yet to start negotiations.

He said all the league sponsorships have to be endorsed at the general assembly and therefore, it is a must that negotiations are concluded before the meeting.

Meanwhile the list of nominees for the Player of the Season award has been cut to three.

BDF XI’s Otlantshekela Mooketsi, Mwampule Masule (Township Rollers) and Patrick Kaunda (FC Satmos) will compete for the prestigious award. The date for the ceremony has not been set.  The Premier League season came to an exciting end last weekend when the title race was decided on the last day.
