Lerato Motshwarakgole debuts on homesoil

Mbali Kgosidintsi’s highly anticipated play,Tseleng which was shown to the Botswana audience for the first time lived to expectation and simply had the audience charmed .University of Cape Town Theatre graduates, Lerato Motshwarakgole and Mpho Kgosidintsi had people in awe with their acting skills as they dominated the stage and paraded their talent.
Tseleng is a play that addresses coming to age of a girl and her transition into womanhood.
The theatrical piece explores social issues that include rape, racism, identity and the process of self discovery in general.
With some live music, befitting stage props and costumes Motshwarakgole and Kgosana worked their magic onstage.
Other treats for the night included Tumisang Batshwana’s dance coordination of Blue Sky Dancehub.
Despite their versatility the group is still rough and needs some polishing to perfect their skills which is not up to par yet.There was also a performance by jazz lady, Nnunu Ramogotsi who shared a stage with Dramaboi as they did their collaboration song A reyeng.
The opening act was a poetry piece Timeless Soul done by Moratiwa Molema whose outfit was Egyptian inspired with some beads to seal the whole look.
