Maya Roze Dialogues

Be nice

The significance is what you do after you make a bad decision in the form of a leap of faith. There is never time to lick wounds and cry, there is always time to own up to how imperative it is for one to realize their strengths and weakness.

You will be taken advantage of all the time if you do not let yourself be who you are. We hear it all the time granted but it is a necessary law of life. An inherent one that if not embraced will lead us to our demise.

I admire those people that have five year plans and visions boards as we have all heard how thoughts manifest realities. We are always wondering how people can simply embrace the notion of marriage in 6 months, when they are single. Or be sure they will have a car and a yard but they are still living at home. Or jump around the stage, all hyped up even though there are ten people in the audience.

Think about what you want. And about what you already have, we waste so much time thinking of how to get it. You know. When you think about how to get it, it turns out that you realize things you do not have and hence begins the hindering of one’s progression.

We are all searching for the chance to be on top. Some step on people’s faces. Some are aggressive. Some are ignorant - but I am learning that you cannot assume that what works for you, will work for everyone else. Find a balance between being pompous and arrogant. Simple. Be nice and blessings will fall on your lap. Be nice to yourself and those around. Smile at your enemy and they will move mountains for you. Just be nice.

Ever heard of the birdie that flew the coop

And crashed straight into a windscreen of an 18-ton wheeler

Its not the sun in the sky

That blinds his eye

It’s the life messed me up mean mug

And how all he needed was his father’s hug

He left without a bed, fridge and stove

All he had was rent cash money – his girlfriend’s ‘love’

And the number for his nanny

No washing machine for his laundry; while

The spinster rolls around hay-stack style

First one on hand and sack

With her other babe on her back

She fights masochistic tendencies of pity-parties and drunken dialing

Glass in hand and heights like no other- wildin’

Drawn into drowning mysteries

With life’s tendencies

They rise with bitterness in their hearts, no mercies

Targets on their back with dreams of greens

Singing if only I, if only me, if only we.
