Kast, Anna Fiki collaboration excites fans

The two artists who closed the show left many mesmerised when they performed Anna Fiki’s popular song, Mpolelele Re Babedi.
The performance seemed to have impressed a number of individual judging by the buzz it created on social media. Many were applauding the performance on social networks, with some simply describing it as superb performance.
During an interview with Showbiz, Kast said that even though he did not watch the show that day, he was surprised to see numerous messages on his cellphone sent by his friends and fans.
“I was very surprised to see those messages as I forgot to watch the show. I was out with my family when I received messages from fans, family and friends who told me that they loved our performance,” he added.
Kast also told Showbiz that he also received numerous comments on Twitter and Facebook.
He said that he had always wanted to work with the folk icon since he entered the music industry more than 10 years ago. He explained that he has loved Mpolelele Re Babedi from a young age.
“The song was a constant feature on many local radio stations for many years. I had always admired Anna’s voice as I had also seen her perform at the station and bus rank on many occasions. I approached her about my interest in spicing up the song so that the young generation can appreciate it and to my surprise she agreed to collaborate with me,” Kast said.
He said that he felt blessed that Anna Fiki agreed to do the collaboration.
