If this report is anything to go by, then maybe the prophecy in the books of Joel 2: 30 -31 and Acts 2: 20 are about to be fulfilled during our live time. This is not surprising, as God has used the stars, the moon and sun before, according to the Bible. Examples are the stories of Joshua, King Hezekiah and the three wise men.

Blood Moons

Blood moon is a situation where the earth, the moon and the sun fall on a straight line with the earth falling between the sun and the moon. The rays of the sun shine on the earth and cast a red shadow on the moon.

Several blood moons have been recorded in history. A situation where the moon appears red four times over a short period is referred to as Four Blood Moons. There are only seven recorded occurrences of four blood moons on Jewish festivals since the birth of Jesus Christ. In all the seven occurrences, it has either signalled the time of pain and or happiness in the history of Israel and indeed the entire world.

The recorded occurrences of ‘the Four Blood Moons happening during or around the Jewish festivals are listed below:

• During the Passover and the feast of Tabernacle in 162-163 AD. About 8 million Jews were killed within three years by the Roman Empire

• During the Passover and the Yom Kippur in 795-796 AD. King Charlemagne of the Roman Empire established a DMZ buffer zone between France and Spain, ending centuries of Arab invasions into Western Europe.

• During the Passover and Yom Kippur in 842 - 843 AD. The Vatican church in Rome was attacked and looted during this time.

• During Passover and Yom Kippur in 860 - 861 AD. At this time the Byzantine Empire was defeated by the Arab Armies at the battle of Lalakaon in Turkey.

• 1493 -1494 during the Passover and the feast of Trumpets. At this time King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, of Spain, expelled about 200,000 Jews from Spain. Many lost their lives and properties when they left the place they have called home for over 2000 years. This coincided with Christopher Columbus discovering America, which became home to many of these Jews to date.

• 1948 -1950 during the Passover and the feast of Tabernacle. On May 14, 1948 Israel declared its independence, within 24 hours of this Jordan, Syria Lebanon and Iraq invaded Israel. Israel with an ill equipped army fought back. This war lasted 15 months and about 6,000 Israelites died. This was 1 % of the Jewish population at that  time.

• 1967 to 1968, during this time Israel neighbours prepared to destroy the Jewish State. Israel launched a pre-emptive strike on June 5, 1967 against Egyptian Forces followed by a counter attack against Jordan, Syria and others. Jerusalem was reunified under the

Israel Authority.

The Four Blood Moons are expected to occur again on April 15, 2014 and September 25, 2014, in April 2015 and in September 2015 during the Passover Festival and the feast of Tabernacle.

What is even more interesting the four blood moons this time around is that this is the eighth occurrence. Is the number eight, of any significance according to the Bible? The blood moons this time around, unlike in the past, occur during the year of Jubilee. NASA says there is no evidence of the four blood moons occurring again like this in the next 100 years.

What do all these things mean?

The purpose of this write up is to get the Christian community and anyone interested to read more about this interesting subject and share their

 Findings.

Whatever these events signify, one thing is clear, something is about to happen that might change the course of history.
