They take on Mochudi Centre Chiefs tomorrow at Itekeng Stadium in Orapa before they complete their season against Gaborone United (GU) and Township Rollers. Chairperson, Oscar Sefako is optimistic that with good preparations, they can collect points against the giants like before.

“We knew this situation was coming. If you remember well, we have been playing our home games outside Serowe and this has affected us a lot,” he said. Sefako said playing home games away and lack of sponsors have played a major role in their predicament. He said they have not been able to retain some of their best players or find good replacements because of their financial situation. “Most of our supporters here are also not working and therefore cannot assist that much. But if we were competing on home-ground, I believe we would not be where we are right now,” he said.

Despite the challenges, Miscellaneous have managed to stay afloat for the past three seasons in the elite league. It remains to be seen whether they can stage another incredible escape.

Against Chiefs, they face a side, which has just come out of a shocking defeat at the hands of Extension Gunners. Another loss for Chiefs could see them lose ground in the title race. They are already four points behind log leaders, Rollers with just three matches remaining.

TAFIC are on their way to the lower division after yet another loss last weekend. They take on Rollers tomorrow at Molepolole Sports Complex in a game that could confirm their demise if other relegation candidates win. TAFIC can only reach 30 points if they win all their remaining games.

Another struggling side, Uniao Flamengo Santos has 26 points while Miscellaneous and Notwane have 27 points and will reach 30 if they win this weekend. TAFIC face a Rollers side also desperate for points with BDF XI and Gaborone United breathing heavily down their necks in the title race. Midfielder, Lawrence Majawa has started training although it is unclear if he will be ready to face TAFIC.

GU take on giant killers, Extension Gunners at New Lobatse Stadium in what is expected to be a thrilling encounter. Mapantsula have for the past two weeks managed to achieve what looked impossible - beating title contenders, BDF XI and Chiefs. Now all eyes will be on them if they can maintain the run against another title favourite, GU. After GU they will be at home again against log leaders, Rollers.

The arrival of coach, Dragojlo Stanojlovic seems to have brought self-belief in players who just recently were fighting for their lives in the Premier League. GU this week parted ways with one of their key players, Moemedi Moatlhaping following weeks of a strained relationship.

However, they have enough depth upfront with either Tebogo Sembowa or Ronald Chikomo likely to take up the striking role tomorrow.

ECCO City Greens who suspended coach, Atshele Molapi this week host Orapa United at Francistown Stadium. FC Satmos will be home to BDF XI while Notwane and BMC lock horns at SSKB Stadium. The only game tonight is between Nico United and Police XI at Selebi-Phikwe Stadium. Kick off is at 7pm. The other games start at 3.30pm.
