It also seems this Easter will see another lineup of DJs to entertain folks. House junkies Uhuru and Heavy K will be at Duma fm grounds while another smashing, star-studded party will be taking place at the Game City Roof Terrance.

SA’s DJ Kent will headline at the All-Black Party on Easter eve kick-starting the holidays with a high note.

After hosting successful events in the past, one being that brought the award winning motswako artist Khuli Chana, organisers of Absolute Entertainment are now convinced that the party will be a hit.

Speaking to Showbiz, Kago Koontse said bringing Khensani ‘DJ Kent’ Mabaso is based on the fact that he is one of the top DJs in SA.

He added that DJ Kent has not been in Botswana in the last two years now.  His new album The Weekent has been doing very well with hits like Spin My World featuring The Arrows.  It has been taking the number one spot on various radio charts.  Other hits include Breeze featuring Nandi Mngoma and Sunrise featuring Zaki Ibrahim.

“DJ Kent is the epitome of cool, calm and collected that is to say until he hits the decks and works club crowds around the world into a frenzy.

He is famous for his 5FM ultimix and is well known in the house music industry as a beast when it comes to mixing and releasing good house jams,” Koontse said.

He added that they expect an action packed night from Kent as well as local DJs on the lined up alongside the international jock.

“We are catering for both house and hip hop fans.  Kent will more than cater to the house fans and ATI, Mix Loso and Dramaboi will do their best for the hip hop fans as they will showcase their new singles respectively,” he said.

Koontse said that the local DJ lineup also has the likes of Phouboy, Ricky Lamar, DJ Fauz, SHB, Casper, German D, Root and Lexx.

“Khuli rocked the same event last year, so we are confident that Kent will do just as much,” he said.

The event will be on April 17 where night crawlers are expected to part ways with P150 for the night. The ticket admits two.
