The show of peace by the women of dance music was blighted by the beating of  Mpacanga dance star MC Maswe, who blames crew members of the Kulenyane Studio for the embarrassment.

According to the self proclaimed veteran Mc Maswe the horror  began as he entered the stage for his performance. He told The Monitor that he was given a 45 minute performance by the show organisers from kulenyane studios.

“I was to perform from 1100hrs to 1245 as an opening act for Charma Gal. I am a veteran in the industry I am not a starter.” He said.

Mc Maswe further said that to his surprise Charma Gal went on stage before him. He said that when he finally got on stage he was only given a bare minimum of only two songs to perform.

“When I got off stage and inquired why I was rushed off, a gentleman, whose name I would rather not say attacked me and one of my female dancers,” Mc Maswe explained.

The case has since been reported to the Gerald Police Station.

Notably, the two leading female artists in the country, Slizer and Chama Gal, performed alongside each other for the first time since their ‘beef’.

It had been reported that there was a love triangle between Charma Gal, Slizer and their ‘men’, even though the two were quick to rubbish the allegations.

Slizer of ‘O tswa kae’ fame performed after Mc Maswe.
