Letlapeng coach, Thaloba Nthaga told Monitor Sport after the victory that they played under a lot of pressure. He said that they created many scoring opportunities that they failed to utilise. Nthaga explained that playing against a team that has nothing to lose could be tricky. The victory improved Letlapeng’s chances of winning the title and gaining automatic promotion to the Premier League.

Prisons coach, Digger Montwedi did not have kind words for the match officials. He said they made wrong decisions that cost his team the game. He faulted the officials for disallowing a Prisons’ goal and the red card to his captain, Mothabane.
