A spirit tried and tested with fire

Using funds from the Blank Tape Levy, they had invited people in the “Creative Industry” to submit applications, but after nearly a year of waiting, a single, terse line dismissed my submission as “outside the scope of the Creative Industry”.

Well, it was not for lack of trying. Unable to obtain detailed guidelines, I had checked, from the outset, and was assured by officers, that my intended submission lay well within the scope and guidelines. I also believed my pioneering dictionary to have emerged through a “creative” process, and that my intended software to newly interpret – and retranslate in bulk – ancient Sumerian texts according to a Setswana unlocking key would result in “intellectual property”. Mostly, I was sure that taking Setswana to new heights was the desired “tangible” contribution to culture. Ultimately, though, being disinclined to argue over definitions and to harangue an evidently disinterested panel, I’ve decided to let it all slide.

In biblical times, vexations were well-used instruments to perversely amuse the gods. In the amphithea-tres of Rome, an imperious wave of the hand meant life or death for a surviving gladiator who had fought others to death for the amusement of Roman citizens. Similarly, in their bid to enforce “monotheism” on Jews, the Elohim (gods) routinely set up and chastised them “seven times” (Lev. 26:27ff), their number for completeness. Like silver, the hapless Jews were to be purified seven times “by fire” (Psalms 12:6).

At the outset, however, it was the gods that fought over mankind. The clan of Enlil (Enlilites) favoured apartheid (Gen. 3:22-24), while Enki was the “snake” that “lied” to mankind that they could be equals of gods. Enkiites knew, of course, that despite their advanced technology (Tswana: bo-Loi; wizardry – as in the intricate gear-train of pure aluminium recently found deeply embedded in a 300 million-year piece of coal), we are all God’s creation. Evidently, the Elohim (gods) kept these ancient advances selfishly to themselves – only stimulating advancement when they felt like it (Dan. 12:4).).

Being their playthings, how did they come to fight over us? Mankind eventually learnt to, as it were, divide and rule them, resulting in nuclear catastrophe in Abraham’s time. The gods then decided that “monotheism” – a scheme to covertly unite into a now “Unseen God” – was the way forward in the emerging Age of Aries (2160 BC to 0 AD). When Enki’s eldest son Marduk (Baal) refused to join, he was promptly branded a “false god”. Since “history” belongs to the victor, everything bad was pinned on him as D’Ea-Bel (“Devil”; literally: “[son] of the EN.KI” – the Earth-Lord or Terra-Goon (Dragon). Unbeknownst to most, the protracted tussle between Enlilites and Enkiites still underpins all major religions today.

If, as I say, Revelation is an Enkiite document, why does John the Revelator speak so disparagingly of the “Dragon whose tail swept a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the ground” (Rev. 12:3-4)? Why was he not more accommodating of Marduk? This needs careful understanding. Marduk (Ra) had usurped power from his younger brother Ningishzidda (Thoth) who eventually fled to South America and began the famous Mayan calendar of 3113 BC. Angry with Marduk, he joined the Enlilites who never forgot that, in pre-Flood times, it was Marduk’s wedding to Tsirpanit (Sarpanit) that allowed a certain Samjesa to influence a third of the Igigi (angels) to use festivities as an excuse to descend on Earth and abduct Earthling females (Book of Enoch, Ch. 6-7) – whereupon things fell apart (see Gen. 6:4-7).

Thoth, however, soon fell out with the Enlilites for being too harsh in enforcing “monotheism” on the Jews, and war ensued. Marduk did not help Thoth out; he instead groomed Nebuchadnezzar to not only overrun the Middle East, but to later conduct the Second Chastisement of the Jews on behalf of the En-lilites (thus, “Nebuchadnezzar, my servant” – Jeremiah 25:7-12). After winning the war in South Ameri-ca, the Enlilites even got their protégé Nabunaid  to marry Nebuchadnezzar’s daughter, and Enlilite conquerors to ritually “grasp the hand” of the aged, now “withered” Marduk and his “cowed” son Nebo (Isai-ah 46:1, Jeremiah 50:2, KJV). Thoth escaped exile in 562 BC and, in opposition to the Enlilite-Enkiite compromise with Marduk, began new buntu religions in the East. Thoth was thus left to uphold proud Enkiite traditions through the Nahashin (Hebrew: “Wise Men”) that welcomed, and educated, the young Jesus. The task of “unsealing” (exposing) the Book of Daniel eventually fell to John the Revelator. To John, the ancient “apostasy” of the old “dragon” Marduk made him one-and-the-same with the Pauline Church that “swallowed” Jesus’ and Mary Magdala’s Gnostic teachings (Rev. 12:4).

Similarly, in this vein, why (as in Daniel 12:36ff) would a manipulative Enlilite blueprint into the future “rejoice” the eventual triumph of the saints over wickedness? As we will indeed confirm in John’s Reve-lation next week, their stratagem was always to divide-and-rule; appear as both Apollo (son of Adonis) and Abb[a]-Adon (“he whose father is Adon[ai]” - Rev. 9:11); as agitator and aggrieved, conqueror and conquered, sinner and saint, all mainly to “refine” their chosen, the Jews.
