In a game played before a capacity crowd at Dongain Francistown on Saturday  Sankoyo played like true champions.

This is Sankoyo’s seventh straight victory, as the club marches towards clinching automatic promotion to the elite league. Sankoyo remains three points ahead second placed BR Highlanders, who also won their weekend match at home.

Botshelo Mafoko lobbed a volley over an advancing TASC goal keeper Kenosi Masimo to score on 23rd minute.

However, the home side enjoyed possession and goal threats after going a goal down.

As the hosts continued piling pressure, clear cut chances were created but Elliot Mavhondo and his soldier dominated side failed to score. The two sides went for the breather with the visitors leading 1-0.

After the break, TASC continued searching for the elusive equaliser as they camped on the Sankoyo half, but still failed to realise the goal.
