The Ramotswa side dislodged Black Forest from the top courtesy of a 3-0 win over Mochudi Buffaloes. It was a double joy for Letlapeng as they comprehensively walloped the only side that beat them in the first leg.

Letlapeng has now accumulated 33 points after winning nine games while Forest are second with 31. The fight for the top spot is expected to get tough, as Rolling Boys visit Letlapeng at Siga Ground on Saturday.

Letlapeng coach, Thaloba Nthaga told Mmegi Sport that returning to the top is a sign that they are doing something positive. He said dropping to second spot last week gave them an opportunity to step up their challenge.

Nthaga said the focus is to win the remaining games to lift the title. He admitted that they face a tough match against third placed Rolling Boys this weekend.

However, he said there is nothing special they plan for the match because he always tells his players to approach each game as it comes.  Rolling Boys have 29 points while Jwaneng Comets are fourth with 25.

Rolling Boys coach, Wire Kaelo said his players showed character in beating Black Forest 1-0 and there is no need to be afraid of Letlapeng.

In other games on Saturday, Buffaloes host Modipane United in Mochudi while Forest will welcome Masitaoka in Mmankgodi. On Sunday, Killer Giants play Comets while Black Peril will do battle with Mogoditshane Fighters.

Though there are only four games left in the competition, clubs have not been supplied with kits from the sponsor.

It is said the branding of kits was completed last week and the plan was to distribute the apparel this week so far, nothing has happened.
