Mahalapye West MP Bernard Bolele was the surprise loser as he was beaten by Joseph Molefe who garnered 2,079 against the MP’s 1,547 votes.
Bolele immediately protested the results.
In Mmadinare specially elected MP Gloria Somolekae lost again, this time by a wider margin to Kefentse Mzwinila who garnered 2024 votes against the MP’s 1031 votes.
Reverend Rupert Hambira turned the tables in Gaborone Central to win the re-run where previously Kgomotso Mogami had prevailed, but there was no surprise in Francistown West where Ignatius Moswaane once again prevailed over his opponents.
