Saturday 22 February 2014 marked a historic moment in yet the emancipation of political awareness of our nation displayed through the UDC launch of Bonnington South parliamentary candidate, Ndaba Gaolathe.
A humble well progressive character with a calm voice that gives substance to his words and propels him to uniqueness, Ndaba Gaolathe not only sets as a symbol of the strength and growth of the UDC, he is a symbol of the seriousness and need for regime change.
The gestures of a true leader are not vested in the weight of his pockets, nor his looks, but in his ability to guide his fellow countrymen through hardship and moments of trials.Ndaba Gaolathe is a far greater man than many politicians of today’s generation.....he is a package and an extra.
Having witnessed the launch of such a vibrant young intelligent and progressive politician, many who had been sold the dressmaker’s dummy notion that the UDC was a failed dead project have been baptised in the knowledge and liberation spirit of comradeship that propels them to national building through the project of choice, the project of the masses, THE NATIONAL PROJECT, the UMBRELLA FOR DEMOCRATIC CHANGE (UDC).
Like many constituencies in Botswana, Bonnington South is hit hard by poverty and crime rate.
A constituency that has been rejected without cause by a government that will rather give you two slices of bread twice a month than teach you how to bake your own bread, a government that will tell you there is paucity of land while its senior officers own plots the size of an entire village. Through such vibrant leaders as Ndaba Gaolathe an alternative government is offered to Batswana. It is without the need of a microscope to notice the perspicacity of Ndaba Gaolathe which he brings into our politics.
Indeed Gaborone Bonnington South embraced an unruffled revolutionary movement in the past weekend. A calm change led by a true general and principled man, who is God fearing and a people’s person.
Ndaba Gaolathe through an assembled team of determined councillors under the UDC is the alternative hope and dream of the populace of Bonnington South.
Unlike most politicians he has risen above petty politics and given a fresh meaning to national representation. He is not a self imposed politician but a true leader with the drive to serve his nation.
The politics of evolution, the politics of our time, the politics of progress, politics that creates employment, politics that craft policies directed in moulding a nation further into success...it is what defines the Umbrella for Democratic Change
