Bootylicious Boity to hit Gabz

Popularly known as Boity, Thulo set tongues wagging when an image, from a photo shoot for Marie Claire’s 2014 Naked issue, of her showing all skin hit social media on Monday. The picture showed her literally butt-naked.

Voted Mzanzi’s sexiest woman for 2012 and 2013, Thulo will be in the country for completely different business from her booty going viral.

Her visit follows after being named brand ambassador for Sky BW.  She along with other celebrities including the day’s main speaker and show co-host Mimi Mokgwathi, songtress Samantha Mogwe of Transitions fame, and the man whose song she featured in, Game ‘Zeus’ Bantsi.

One of the organisers of the show Thandi Tumelo told Showbiz that Sky BW is an acronym for ke sharpo ka yone, sure ka yone.

“Sky is a movement of girls, for girls.  It aims to help teenage girls be true to themselves and express themselves through the choices they make in life.  The girls will say ke sharpo ka yone to the things they are not sure about, such as when they stand up to their friends.  They will say ke sharpo ka yone to the things they are good without. Like smoking and alcohol abuse,” explained Tumelo.

The first edition, which will feature Mogwe as their feature star, is set to hit the shelves in March.

“The first edition will feature Samantha with a pull out poster.  As for the radio show, it will first air on Sunday on Yarona fm.  We want to help girls be who they want to be and help them follow their dreams,” she said.

Tumelo added that Mokgwathi affectionately known as Zizi will host the radio show (also co-host of Faki’safety belt) along side Warona and Nandi. She also hints that on the day Zeus will be shooting his new music video for his latest hit single.

“I am not going to mention the title of the new track, but I can confirm that Zeus as he performs will be shooting his latest music video.  Essentially it is a SKY fest, a day-long festival for teenage girls to hang out with their friends and learn more about the other platforms of Sky BW,” she said.

The launch starts at 12:00 pm and ends at 4:00 pm on Saturday exclusively for teenage girls.  The event will be held at the parking lot at Rail Park Mall.  Performances will include Samantha Mogwe, DJ Cupid on the decks with Zizi Panther as MC.
