Bots 3rd At Miss Universe-Teen

 

The 19 year old left the country headed for Nicaragua, USA on February 08 and is expected back in the country during the week.

She had won Miss teen Botswana last year December 14.

The teenager who is still waiting for her BGCSE examination results was on the night wearing a number from De lana Scott.

The blue number which had attendants applauding for her as she paraded on the ramp in her last parade was a  mixture of turquoise blue an silver, that blended well.

Kgwadi who had told The Monitor before she left that she intends to raise the Botswana flag  high in the modelling industry has no intentions of slowing down on her modelling career.

She mentions that she intends to be the next Mpule kwelagobe.

‘ I hope I have done all that is necesary to prepare for Miss teen universe, I am nervous but excited to represent my country.

And I hope to come back with the crown,’ said Kwadi before she left.

Speaking to her Mother Tshepo kwadi she says that she got the news in the wee hours of saturday morning.

‘ I got the news at around 0330am. I have not been able to sleep then. She worked so hard and I am very proud,’ she said.

Kwadi also mentions that she will supports her daughter in her dreams so that ‘she can be the best she can be’

Kgwadi had previously won Miss G-west Junior Secondary School in 2009. A year later she was crowned 2nd princess at Miss Kgosimpe Junior School.

 Miss teen Botswana is an annual beauty pageant for teenagers aged between  14-19.
