TKOs Galore At Inter-Club Boxing Tourney

The first boxer to be knocked out was Chriswell Jongwe of BMC who suffered at the hands of Thabang Motsewabeng of DTCB. Next was Kgomotso Keteng of the Francistown Club who was floored by George Molwantwa of BMC in the first round of the 49kg category. The third knock-out was in the 52kg when Marshal Mokgaela of DTCB silenced Mooketsi Lekgetho of UB. In the same division, Kabelo Molefe of UB knocked Kemmonye Mabutho of Francistown Club senseless in the second round.

In the 56kg Kabelo Bagaswi of DTCB stopped Kefentse Molalapata of Tsholofelo Club in the final round. 

There were more TKOs in the 60kg category. Robert Motswakae of SSKB sent his opponent Nelson Kavari of TAB to the canvass in the third round while Thabang Mosesane of BMC knocked out Mbako Mojeremani of MAFIKA in the second round. Aobakwe Terena of TAB knocked Mooketsi Sekgophi of the Francistown Club cold in the second round while Basha Motlhane of Prisons finished off Keitshokile Makushe of Maun Club in the third round.

In the 64kg category, Tshepang Babui of DTCB knocked out Motlatsi Mokobeng of EMG while Kagiso Bagwasi of DTCB made sure that his fight against Atang Mosenke of KNBC did not go beyond the second round. Gabriel Nanogang of Botho College stopped Theo Kemoterere of TDCB in the second round. Kebonyekgotla Lefaso failed to survive the second round of his 69kg fight with Bontshetse Kutlwelo of Botho. The same fate befell Boage Gaosego of Francistown Club in the second round against Monthusi Moitoi of UB in the 69kg. 

In the women’s competition, Koketso Dipogiso of KNBC beat Rodah Maswabi in the 49kg category, while Tlotlo Tamora of TAB hammered Kelebogile Monthusi in the 56kg. In the 60kg category, Orapeleng Ketshametse of KNBC won 3-0 against Lebogang Daniel of TAB. 

In the 64kg category, Keneilwe Rakhudu of DTCB was no match for Tshephang Moilwa of SSKB.  In the 69kg, Kemoneilwe Tau of TAB escaped with a slim win over Tebo Gaotingwe of DTCB as Katlego Olatotse of 125 overcame Tsitsi Morake of Botho College. This was the second BoBA Inter-Club tournament held this year after the first one at the SSKB two weeks ago.
