Nico lie in wait for Rollers

 

He said ahead of their be MOBILE Premier League clash against visiting Township Rollers tomorrow, the inactivity might affect his players' fitness levels. 'We cannot be compared to Rollers in terms of fitness and they will start the game as favourites,' he said. Despite doubts over his squad's fitness, Masomere said morale is high in the camp and they are going for a win. He said his relegation-haunted side is ready to do battle with Rollers. 

Majombolo are languishing in the relegation zone and a defeat tomorrow might prove costly. Both sides have struggled throughout the season but there was a glimmer of hope for Rollers last weekend after a 3-1 win over Boteti Young Fighters. Nico were inactive at the weekend but in their last league game, they lost 4-0 to Mochudi Centre Chiefs.

Masomere said his players have been hard at training and are ready to tackle Rollers. He said that for the first time this season, all the players turned up for training. Masomere appealed to the club's supporters to turnout in large numbers to cheer their team to victory. He urged Nico supporters to copy their Extension Gunners' counterparts who fill stadiums even though their team struggles every season.

Rollers come into the match under pressure from their expectant fans following an indifferent season. Rollers' coach, Rahman Gumbo said their aim is to collect maximum points from their remaining five games to end the season on a high. Rollers beat Nico 2-1 in the first round fixture. Kick-off is 3pm.
