Generations' MJ Assaults Botswana Girlfriend

His UB girlfriend Roselyn April allegedly had to be ferried home by her own mother after MJ, real name, Anga Makubalo, allegedly threw her bags out of the hotel after he beat her up following an argument apparently involving another woman.

The organiser of the Mahalapye show, DJ Easy B told The Monitor he only learnt about the fracas involving the lovebirds very late. “I was not there when it happened. I only heard from people that it happened.

But I cannot say anything on the issue as I was not there,” said DJ Easy B before hanging up the phone. The hotel manager Robert Kabuzu referred all enquiries regarding the incident to his superiors in Gaborone. Interestingly the alleged victim, April told The Monitor through Facebook that it is only rumours but her friends have told The Monitor she was beaten and embarrassed by the celebrity boyfriend in Mahalapye, upon which she phoned her mother to drive all the way from Francistown to fetch her.

After going public about their affair it seems there is trouble in paradise between the lovebirds, the assault, which is reported to have happened at the Cresta Mahalapye Hotel during a festive show headlined by DJ Fresh and Naaq Musik. According to eye witnesses the couple’s arguments started backstage but no one could attest to what caused the argument.

“I just saw them arguing behind the stage. I do not remember what time it was and of course did not read much into it because it was noisy. I later heard on the afternoon of Christmas day that they fought and that April had left with her mother,” said one of the deejays who wished to remain anonymous.

According to another witness who was at the hotel at the time of the incident, the 24 year-old who’s soon to release his debut album titled Love and Music on Valentines Day assaulted UB student April before throwing her clothes out of their room.

“The time was between 3am and 5am in the morning of Christmas day, I did not quite get what the argument was about but it seemed that there was another girl involved. After the fight Naaq Musik threw April’s clothes outside,” said the witness.
