BMC protest over Rollers' trio

Rollers signed the players during the off-season when they still had running contracts with BMC.
The three featured in a league tie against their former club on Tuesday with Kgetholetsile scoring the opener in a match they won 2-0.
BMC argue that the players were not paid for and by virtue of that still belong to them.
On the other hand, Rollers have said they have always been willing to pay the money but because of the ownership struggles that BMC underwent earlier in the season they were not sure whom to pay.
Indications are that Rollers had been negotiating with BMC’s former chairman Sonny Phiri, but were later instructed not to make any payment to him.
However, a major impediment could be the amount to be paid for the three players, as BMC has clearly said the much talked about P100,000 is far from their expectations.
BMC manager Nelson Radijeng confirmed they would take up their complaint with the Botswana Premier League.
“We have put up a protest and will take it up with BPL.
Those players are still ours because they were not paid for,” Radijeng told Mmegi Sport.
He could not be drawn into disclosing further details like how much they were expecting for the three players.
Rollers’ executive manager, Phuthego Setete said the club is unaware of the issue.
“We are unaware of that, if there was an issue, BMC would have alerted us. But they have not done that,” Setete said.
Meanwhile, Musa Ohilwe’s agent Moran Nthoiwa has confirmed the player is on trials in Vietnam and expects a response from the club in exactly two weeks.
Although he did not confirm the name of the club, the player told his club’s management on Monday that he was trying his luck at Vassai FC.
BMC are unhappy that their captain went without their consent and are likely to meet the agent before he leaves for Cameroon next week over the issue.
Nthoiwa said he was aware of BMC’s gripe, adding he would make time to iron out the issue.
“I received communication from them, but I have been busy.
Perhaps it is something I will sit down and talk to them about during the weekend,” he said.
