FNBB Launches Smartphone App

At the launch, officials explained that the smartphone app allows customers to have direct and easy access to accounts, make payments, transfer funds, view balances and detailed transactional history.
The application also has value-added services such as the ability to locate FNB ATMs and branches, buy prepaid airtime, make free calls and messages to other App users. The App also includes the popular eWallet service and new features will be added in the future.
At Friday's launch, the bank also unveiled its FNB.mobi site, a mobile device website which works on both smartphones and internet-enabled phones.
Together with the smartphone App, the mobile site is expected to increase access to the banking network for customers who may not have the ability to visit the physical sites.
