The album is titled Molweni, which is Xhosa for Dumelang in Setswana. The disco album that was released last week has songs in Venda, Zulu, Xhosa and Setswana. The album comprises 14 tracks that are very hot, including Impumelelo, Feel So Lonely, Penwell, Boikhutso and Ndoyenda.
The songs are said to be in a variety of South African languages because the disco music is popular down south.
The Penivy music owner, Taudi Lopang also known as Innocent Man in the music industry, said the album has already been distributed to various shops in South Africa.
The Serowe-born Lopang said Penivy Music is a collaboration of Penwell Kunene, BY4, Innocent Man, Crown, Ludwe, Quathikazi and PK Collaboration.
He said that he has been in the music industry for the past five years and also runs a promotion company called IMPIC SOUNDS.
He recorded and released his debut album in 2006 titled Don't Cry which was recorded at Play Records and mastered at Down Town Studios in Johannesburg, South Africa.
'I worked with my producer Kunene popularly known as a lead vocalist for Matshikos when he was still at Dalom Music or Splash. My album has eight tracks in all,' said the Innocent Man. Lopang said that he is still coming up with promotions for the new album by BY4, 'very soon the promotions would be held in places like Gaborone, Mogoditshane, Mahalapye, Palapye, Selebi-Phikwe, Serowe, Francistown, Maun and Kasane'.
Kunene is said to be coming up with a hot album that is going to be out in September this year.
The album will be the second that Lopang will have produced as an individual. The album will be called The Return.
'You can ask, the return of what? Let us wait for September and hear the title track of the album The Return, he said.
The album will have 12 tracks including hits like No More, The Change, The Return, The Pain and Missing You, which is a tribute to Linda Magugu, a former BY4 crew member.
His next album is going to be released late this year and it will be titled Queen.
The Innocent Man who currently resides in Maun is still having other scheduled promotional events to look out for which will feature local artists in the genres of kwaito kwasa, traditional music, rock 'n' roll, jazz, disco, kwasa, gospel, dikoma, reggae and many more.
