Gatherers of wood find decomposing body

A woman set out with Monday morning with fellow firewood gatherers for the bushes around the Francistown Stadium that is currently under construction.  As they were looking for logs among thorn-bushes, she heard a scream from one of her colleagues.
'I thought one of us had been bitten by a snake and rushed over, only to find her bending over the body of a dead man,' the woman said.

The dead man was wearing a khakhi-brown long-sleeved shirt and a pair of dark blue trousers. His body was lying in tall grass a few metres from a billboard.

The be Mobile advert was on the ground with a long green and white rope with knots hanging from the top of the metal frame of the billboard.

Minibuses, trucks and bakkies sandwiched the tarred road as people from Blue Town location hurried to the scene. The air was still but redolent with the odour of the partly decomposed body.
