Selolwane Relieved

Selolwane has been on the sideline since he arrived at Ezenkosi from Santos in July while waiting for his citizenship paperwork to be sorted out at the Department of Home Affairs.
Cosmos lost 2-0 to Bloemfontein Celtic in Mehlareng, but Selolwane says he finished the match with mixed feelings.
'While I am happy to be back playing again, I am disappointed that we didn't win in my debut. It would have been even nicer to also score but I am an optimistic person so I am looking forward to seeing the team turn things around.
'You will not believe how much playing that first game for Cosmos meant for me. It really took too long to happen and that is never a pleasurable experience. 'While watching from the stands, I was beginning to get these thoughts that it is easy on the field, but now that I am also playing, I have to prove myself,' Selolwane tells KickOff.com.
After putting in a satisfactory performance in the 78 minutes that he spent on the pitch, the Botswana international believes he will soon overcome the feeling of fatigue in the second half.
'I could already feel that I was losing a bit of power when I was substituted, but that was because I had not played for a while'.
Selolwane qualifies for citizenship because his father is South African. Since arriving at Santos during the 2005-06 season the 29-year-old played 44 games scoring 13 goals, most of which came in his first season. (kickoff.com)
