Following their opening-day 1-0 loss to Extension Gunners, Magosi were beaten on the road for the first time this season when they went down 2-0 to TAFIC at the Obed Itani Chilume Stadium on Saturday.

Chiefs, who entered the campaign as title favourites, have only one victory from four matches and lie in 10th position with four points and a negative goal difference.

But Letsholonyane, who joined the team last week from Zimbabwe's FC Platinum, is unfazed and confident of an immediate turnaround.

'There is no reason to panic because there are a lot of positives from the game to take forward and improve going forward into the next game,' he told MonitorSport.

Letsholonyane highlighted that Chiefs have a very good team and it is only a matter of time before results start coming.

'A good team with good players, with good technical (ability) and a good level of understanding of the game. Just a bit of understanding the way we want to play and being together all the time, then we will be good. It is just a matter of time,' he said.

Against TAFIC, Letsholonyane said his team was in control for long periods but was undone by a number of missed chances.

'We were in control for most parts of the game and there were a lot of missed chances. There was no threat really from our opponents until the penalty and then our defensive error in not dealing with the aerial ball, while we also threw more offensive players for an equaliser. The more we missed our chances, the more we gave confidence to TAFIC and we got punished,' the former Matebele FC coach added.

Chiefs made substantial investment in the team during the off-season and were widely tipped as the leading favourites for the league title.

Magosi's victors on Saturday, TAFIC moved to six points from three matches.
