The stars of the Mascom Premier League

1 Noah Maposa
(Mochudi Centre Chiefs)
He continues to show that he has potential to become one of the best goalkeepers in the country. In 13 games, Maposa has only conceded seven goals, which is an impressive record.

2 Finkie Mothibi
(Extension Gunners)
What a brilliant defender. Since taking the captaincy from the departed Tshepo Motlhabankwe, the man best known as 'Ma-Thousand' has been the reason why Gunners have had one of their best starts to the season.

3 Boitumelo Modisaotsile
(ECCO City Greens)
Underrated in football circles, but 'Bashin' seems to be enjoying his stay in the north and remains a future prospect. Though ECCO has not displayed the same entertaining football like last season, Modisaotsile has been outstanding.

4 Given Mpundu
(Centre Chiefs)
He joined the Kgatleng outfit at the start of the season and fitted like a hand in a glove. He has brought stability to Chiefs' rearguard. The problem with Mpundu is that sometimes he gets exposed when trying to cover for his teammates. But he is a clean defender who hardly commits fouls.

5 Pius Kolagano
(Flamengo Santos)
Kolagano has been brilliant this season and his ability to read the game remains his trump-card. But he should avoid the occasional recklessness that creeps into his game. So far, referees have been lenient to him. Otherwise he remains an important man in Santos' challenge for the championship.

6 Patrick Mathaba
(Flamengo Santos)
Township Rollers might be regretting why they let him join Santos because he has been a pillar of strength. He has played his heart out so far and his single goal against Gunners gave Santos maximum points early in the season.

7 Othusitse Pilane
(Mochudi Centre Chiefs)
There is doubt that he is a good player and he seems to be enjoying his stay at Chiefs. 'Jabu' remains a key figure as Magosi search for their first-ever Premier League title. His vital last gasp equaliser, against ECCO City Greens last weekend, showed that he is a man for the big stage.

8 Oteng Moalosi
(Mochdui Centre Chiefs)
What a player! Moalosi has continued to shine in the middle of the pack for Magosi. He has scored four goals this season and the national team selectors gave him an early Christmas present by calling him for camp ahead of a date with South Africa on January 16.

9 Jerome Ramatlhakwana (Mochudi Centre Chiefs)
'JJ' has shown what a happy player can do. The youngster is enjoying his stay at Chiefs and has scored seven goals along the way. He has potential to emerge top scorer at the end of the season.

10 Botlhe Rankgomo
(Flamengo Santos)
'Ringo' has been on fire since joining from Jwaneng Comets. He is a busy striker who can score many goals with the support of other players. The recent red-card he got might have a negative impact on his form. Rankgomo should know that youngsters look up to him and his off the field behaviour is important to them as a role model.

11 Tamocha Bedi
(TAFIC)
Though TAFIC had a mixed start to the season, Bedi has shown that he is a good leader and banged goals with ease. He is a hard-working utility player who has been complemented well by teammates. If TAFIC players push themselves hard like their captain do, they will be a hard side to beat.
